We are currently searching for experienced Ophthalmic Technicians (COA, COT, COMT) in our Iowa based clinics. This individual is responsible for performing an extensive number of data collection functions, as delegated by the physician, to allow for proper diagnosis of the patients condition. We are interested in people who are willing and able to work independently, accept responsibility for assigned patient care and who are able to complete patient work-ups in a warm and friendly manner.
We offer our team members an excellent salary and a generous benefit package which includes health, dental, 401(k), paid time off, continuing education and so on. Some instate daytime travel is required, however, travel time along with mileage to any of our sites outside of your designated home office are reimbursed. Relocation assistance is also available.

The Iowa Academy of Ophthalmology (IAO) is a statewide organization representing Iowa Ophthalmologists and their patients. We are an affiliate of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. The IAO was founded in 1961 as the Iowa Academy of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology. In 1989, the IAO incorporated as the Iowa Academy of Ophthalmology. Our current membership includes 85% of Ophthalmologists in Iowa.
